The short version

Notifi is built to keep your data on your machine. The app runs locally, talks to itself over localhost, and does not send your messages, history, or voice recordings anywhere. The one exception is your account: signing in and checking your plan happens on our server, and that is covered below.

The app

Notifi stores your notification history, settings, and keybinds in local files on your computer. Voice replies are recorded and transcribed entirely on your device. Nothing from the app is uploaded, and the app contains no analytics or telemetry.

Accounts

Notifi needs an account, so the app does talk to us for one specific thing: signing in and checking your plan. When you sign in we store your email address and a hashed password, and we create a session for that machine, recorded with the browser or app identifier it came from. The app then checks your plan with us about twice a day. That check carries your session token and nothing else. It never carries your messages, your history, or your voice.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. We keep a Stripe customer reference against your account so we know which plan you are on, and Stripe holds the billing information itself under its own privacy policy.

This website

If you sign up or join a waitlist, we collect the email address you give us and use it only to contact you about Notifi. We do not sell or share it.

Questions

Email us any time at support@notifi.online and a person will answer. That is also the address to use if you want the email address you gave us deleted.
